Wednesday, Jan. 22, will be a non-traditional instruction (NTI) day because of extreme cold weather.
According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday morning will deliver the harshest temperatures of this arctic outbreak, with lows near to below zero and wind chill values that will make it feel closer to -10 to –15 degrees.
Schools will provide additional information and guidance on NTI assignments.

❄️ FCPS schools will be closed on Thursday, January 9, and Friday, January 10 due to inclement weather. All evening and after-school activities are also canceled.

🤩 Kindergarten Transition Week 🤩
We can't wait to meet some of our newest Mustangs for Transition Week July 29th-August 1st. If you have an incoming MES Kindergartner and want to sign them up for Transition Week all you need to do is call the front office at (859) 381-3521. If not available at the time you call, leave a good voicemail and Ms. Tina in the front office will get back to you with directions on registering your child.
