We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who made it possible for our school to send off the best of our best to represent CSJ-R once more for this year. 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘼𝙉𝙄𝙈𝙊! 💚🤍

Little by little, we slowly and gently ease into the month of December, and it’s time to lean towards a more 𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 🎉 and 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘺🎄mood, as the yuletide cheer and a sense of togetherness brings us all once again to celebrate the season of Christmas.

But you couldn’t have honestly thought that we would sleep on that, didn’t you? Luh, eme man kamo kag. Lingering among the drafts are some very 𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘳 plans in mind. We definitely have something in store to keep up the suspense and excitement of this season’s spirit. So stay tuned, our dearest Lasallians! 😉🎄🎅💚

Venturing through a whirlwind 🌪️ of different sports and activities ever since day 1, let’s re-ignite the Lasallian spirit and give our all-out best for tomorrow, laying out the final stretch as we conclude this year’s meet with literary-musical competitions, including (𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰!) the venerated and much-awaited 𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙎𝘼𝙔𝘼𝙒𝘼𝙉! 💃🕺

Trottling around from one venue to the next, we’ve been on a whirlwind journey just to show our full on support for our school’s representatives during 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐀 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒! 🏟️

Whether it’s rushing to catch the next game, cheering for our team to the point of losing our voice, or navigating unfamiliar campuses, this year’s CAPRISA has transformed into an adventure like no other. Meeting new faces and making new memories, the excitement 😱, libod 🚕, and chika 🔥definitely made it all worth the effort.

And let’s not forget the hilarious struggles—counting every peso for transportation fares or entrance fees “𝘵𝘪𝘩 𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘪 𝘬𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘢 𝘬𝘰! 💸😭😭”, getting lost on the way “𝘋𝘐𝘐𝘕 𝘕𝘈 𝘒𝘈𝘔𝘖??? 𝘏𝘜𝘓𝘛𝘈 𝘒𝘖 𝘚𝘈 𝘎𝘈𝘛𝘌 𝘏𝘈𝘈𝘈! 👺👺👺”, going all out for some food after an intense game, or wondering where the friend group’s next hangout spot for the day will be. Ang iban, daw daog pa gani aton athletes maka lamon, kag. EME! 🍟💸

In all seriousness, would one even be able to call it a competition without solid cheers and yells from our dearest supporters? Nope, we didn’t think so either. 😛

Over the past 2 weeks, tensions have spiked and cheers flown as the five houses of San Juan Fest: Season 3 all battled to cop the 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍 title for 𝙑𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙮𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡. Alas, we can only have one winner, and we gleefully announce that the house of 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙢 snatched this spot, gaining a total of 35 points. This is followed by 𝘓𝘰𝘶𝘪𝘴 as the 1st runner-up (25 points), 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘯 as 2nd runner-up (20 points), and 𝘏𝘰𝘫𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢 and 𝘓𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘯 both sharing the 3rd runners-up standing, with a total of 15 points each.

Congratulations to all of the houses for doing their best, and showing true sportsmanship and camaraderie in style. There are definitely more sports and activities to come, so stay tuned, dear Lasallians! 𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐌𝐎! 💚

𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗞𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗘, 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦!♟️👑

The chessboard saw some strenuous and mind-boggling battles, and with that, we now have our victors! A massive shoutout to Lucian and Martin (𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘪𝘳𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘰𝘺𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴, 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘺), who swept the competition and claimed the 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍 spots, snatching 𝟐𝟓 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 each! 🏆

But the fight didn’t end there—our 1st Runner-Up (𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩 𝘨𝘪𝘳𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘰𝘺𝘴), Hojilla, galloped into second place with 20 points! Meanwhile, William (𝘎𝘪𝘳𝘭𝘴) and Lucian (𝘉𝘰𝘺𝘴) secured the 2nd Runner-Up positions with 15 points added to their tally!

Rounding out this thrilling tournament, Louis (𝘎𝘪𝘳𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘰𝘺𝘴), Martin (𝘎𝘪𝘳𝘭𝘴), and William (𝘉𝘰𝘺𝘴) all showed incredible resilience, and shared the 3rd Runner-Up position, garnerning 10 points each!

It’s a win-win across the board! We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to everyone for playing a smart game!

𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 🎉

It’s certainly been a promising start! For the 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙔𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, the house of Louis snatched 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍 with 60 points, followed by Lucian claiming 2nd with 50 points, and Hojilla in 3rd, garnering 45 points.

For our Sci-Math Month activities, William dominated the LaHAmazing Race, taking 1st place with 35 points, while Louis and Hojilla both tied for 1st place in LaRuHa, gaining 35 points each.

'𝙏𝙀𝙆𝘼 𝙇𝘼𝙉𝙂, 𝘼𝙏𝙍𝘼𝙎 𝙈𝙐𝙉𝘼 ‼️

Before the final results of the recently concluded volleyball and chess competitions are posted, let us first take a look back at the past competitions that our 5 houses have successfully triumphed upon.

This previous August, CSJ-R celebrated its 𝐁𝐮𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚 festivities, and in connection with this, each house participated in different Palarong Pambansa games, including 𝘛𝘶𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘞𝘢𝘳, 𝘚𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘙𝘢𝘤𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘒𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘨-𝘬𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘨.

In September, the celebration of Sci-Math Month took over the stage. Contained within were more challenges that our houses took on, including the Envirovation, with each house showcasing the best of their talents in crafting scientific proposals.

Congratulations to all of the houses for successfully surpassing all of these hurdles with flying colors!

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦' 𝗗𝗔𝗬!

The 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 every year is dedicated to celebrating 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴' 𝘋𝘢𝘺, commemorating the hard work and service of all teachers around the globe.

However, being a teacher is so much more than just teaching. One also has to be a caregiver, facilitator, guidance counselor, event coordinator, and so much more to their children at school. All this while juggling lesson plans, learning materials, school documents, extracurricular work, overtime, as well as their own personal work-life balance. It may be safe to say that this is definitely 𝘯𝘰𝘵 an easy job.

Lasallian teacher or not, the dedication of one's own life and career to imparting knowledge into future generations begets an entire new level of respect, marking one's own impact on each learner, in one way or another.

Please remember that whether or not it be World Teachers' Day, we, as students will also be here to support you, just as you've been with us along the whole way. Thank you, dearest teachers for being our mentors, confidantes, life coaches, second parents, and support system through the ups and downs of life, and especially for always putting your students first above all.

On August 16, 2024, the High School Department's Photography Club held a pivotal screening event for SINAG, the official media team. This screening was a crucial opportunity for club members to showcase their photography skills for a desired position on the SINAG team. It also marked the beginning of an exciting journey for both the SINAG team and the Photography Club as they prepare for the upcoming projects and opportunities in the 2024-2025 academic year.
