DABMIS Volleyball Girls Claim Bronze in Provincial Meet
DABMIS Volleyball Girls delivered an impressive performance in the Provincial Meet 2024-2025, securing 2nd place (Bronze) in the highly competitive tournament held from January 31 to February 1, 2025.
The team faced a tough battle against Capiz Province, putting up a valiant fight but ultimately falling short. In their next match against CAPRISA, they fought with determination but were unable to clinch the victory, settling for second place.
Despite the challenges, the squad displayed strong teamwork, resilience, and fighting spirit, proving their capability on the court. Their coaches, Mr. James V. Aller and Mrs. Amy Jimenez, expressed immense pride in their players, emphasizing that their hard work and dedication were evident throughout the tournament.

Grade 12 Swimmer Emanuel Cortel Makes Waves with Multiple Golds in Competitions
Emanuel Cortel, a Grade 12 student of Don Amando Bayot Sr. Memorial Integrated School, has emerged as one of the top young swimmers in the division after securing multiple gold medals in various swimming competitions.
Cortel showcased his exceptional swimming skills in the District Meet, winning gold medals in the 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke. His dominance continued in the Division Meet, where he claimed gold in the 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke, and the 50m freestyle relay.
His impressive performance led him to the Provincial Meet, where he once again shined by earning gold in the 50m freestyle relay and bronze in the 50m backstroke relay.
Cortelโs achievements highlight his dedication, discipline, and passion for swimming. His victories not only bring pride to his school but also serve as an inspiration to fellow student-athletes.
As he continues to train and compete, Cortel remains determined to further improve his skills and represent his school in higher-level competitions. His success is a testament to the schoolโs commitment to fostering young talents in sports.

John Neto Cortel Wins 2nd and 3rd Place at Provincial Meet 2024-2025
John Neto Cortel, a Grade 10 student from Don Amando Bayot Sr. Memorial Integrated School, earned commendable finishes in the 3km and 5km runs at the Provincial Meet held at Villaraen Stadium in Roxas City. Cortel took home a 3rd place ๐ฅ finish in the 3km race and a 2nd place ๐ฅ finish in the 5km race, marking a strong performance in both events.
Cortel faced tough competition in both races, but his determination and steady pacing earned him spots on the podium. In the 3km event, he placed 3rd, showcasing his speed and resilience. Later, in the 5km race, he ran with endurance to secure a 2nd place finish, just behind the eventโs winner.
His coach praised his effort and consistency, noting that Cortelโs hard work paid off at this provincial competition. As a young athlete, these results reflect his continued progress in long-distance running.

Oktubre 10, 2024 โ Ginbuksan subong nga adlaw ang Interclass Meet 2024 sa isa ka masadya nga parada sang mga atleta. Nagpasundayag naman ang mga tsikiting sang kindergarten tubtob Grade 3 sang ila mga cute performances sa pagsaot, nga naghatag sing daku nga kalipay sa mga tumalan-aw.
Pagkatapos sang parada, ginpatigayon ang mga hampang sa basketball, volleyball, kag iban pa nga sports nga ginpartisiparan sang mga estudyante halin sa nagkalain-lain nga grade levels.
Madinalag-on ang pagsugod, kag padayon ang inspirasyon kag excitement sa sunod nga adlaw sang kompetisyon.

DON AMANDO BAYOT SR. MEMORIAL INTEGRATED SCHOOL PARTICIPATED IN THE KHAN ACADEMY ACTIVITIES FOR PILOT PROGRAM IN MATHEMATICS, YEAR 2
DABMIS is one of the schools selected by the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Roxas City to join the second year of the Khan Academy Philippines (KA PH) pilot program. This initiative, in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd), aims to improve educational outcomes.
The program is part of DepEd's broader initiative to enhance literacy and numeracy skills among students while revitalizing programs in reading, science, and mathematics.
