Today, we explore the Unexpected Red Theory—a fascinating design concept suggesting that a room never feels complete until a hint of red is introduced. As a color associated with love, passion, sensuality, and desire, red is the perfect hue to celebrate Valentine’s Day!

Imagine a vintage interior adorned with subtle touches of red, bringing warmth and emotion into every corner. Whether it’s a crimson throw pillow, a rich burgundy vase, or a bold scarlet wall, the possibilities are endless... Obviously for me - it has to be a Reloved chair though!

For me, chairs hold the same artistic value as a piece of art hanging on the wall. They serve as a centrepiece, a talking point, but also your safe place all at once. Each chair is not just furniture; it’s a work of art that tells a story.

This is a little announcement before the big announcement: very soon, I will be releasing my own restored Reloved couture vintage chairs!

Each chair will be individually numbered, making every piece truly one-of-a-kind with a unique secret message embroidered inside each chair.

A New Reloved Project: The Marabou Chair.
A very sad chair arrived at the Reloved studio, all broken inside, with the wrong base and completely the wrong cushion configuration. But fear not! I will muster all my upholstery powers to restore this super rare Marabou chair back to its former glory. Of course, I’ll add some of my signature bespoke touches to make it truly unique!

Stay tuned for updates on this exciting transformation. I can’t wait to share the journey of breathing new life into this beautiful piece.

The unmistakable iconic 675 chair design by Robin Day one of the most significant British furniture designers of the 20th century and was manufactured By Hille c1950s.

This is my clients chair that he’s sat and successfully designed products since 1965 from when his career started at Arup (then Ove Arup and Partners) in London. In 1968 they decided to re-equip the office with swivel chairs they let everyone take theirs home if they wanted. You may have even had tea from one of my clients design

This is what I love about restoring chairs - the beautiful history they only a chair can hold!

This Reloved bespoke Parker Knoll Statesman with matching footstool was purchased locally, and so I jumped at the chance to delivery and see its new home and meet the client. I’m so glad I did… because he’s one of the lovely humans I’ve met and to top it off - a beautiful and contemporary home too!

I’ve been saving this Parker Knoll Statesman in my Reloved collection, I’ve never seen a green shell one before! It’s now the time for a new home… come and follow me, it’s going to be a bight restoration x

One of two Lurashell chairs full of family history and memories that I restoring for one of my lovely clients mum just in time for her birthday.
These chair were design in the 1960s (one of the chairs still has the original manufacturer date) for the very stylish people of the day and they even took pride and place on the QE2. I think they just as iconic today!? Follow on this ace Reloved restoration x
