In the 1970s we moved from our one pitch site on Queensway in Burnage, Manchester, to our beautiful green belt site in Heaton Mersey, Stockport where you can find us today. We have had our fair share of difficulties, including two recent fires which destroyed the club house and its temporary replacement respectively. We are hoping to open Footgolf and Golf again soon, but please bear with us. ๐Ÿ˜ As you can see from the pictures the January flooding affected us very badly, and while the standing water has gone, we are still working to clear up the mud and debris left behind, and make repairs to the tee box areas. ๐Ÿ˜… Keep checking back here, and we will announce as soon as it is open again.โ€ผ๏ธ
I know youโ€™re all desperate to kick some balls again! ๐Ÿ˜‚

It always feels so wrong when someone passes away at this time of year, but sadly it still happens. ๐Ÿซถ At Burnage Rugby Club we offer the facility to hold your funeral service as well as the wake.
It is often easier, especially if you have elderly relatives, to hold the funeral all in one place. There is ample parking at Burnage as well as disabled facilities, which makes it more accessible for people with mobility issues. ๐Ÿ˜Š We offer catering as well so the burden is removed as much as possible from the grieving relatives.
We are here to help as much as we can at this difficult time. ๐Ÿซถ https://burnagerfc.com/funeral/

The 1s got back to winning ways at a packed out Varley Park on Saturday, putting in a solid second half performance in the sunshine โ˜€๏ธ

The 2s struggled with numbers this weekend, which hindered their chances against a good Congleton side.

Week off this week, but thereโ€™s about 1000 Birthdays to get through so look out for themโ€ฆ

It was a double winning weekend for Burnage as the 1s navigated themselves past Widnes away, while the 2s decided that the best form of offence was offence in their wild win against Holmes Chapel.

In stark contrast to last week, Burnage started strongly and were leading shortly after halftime through tries from Jordan Chappell and Alex Brooks either side of the break.

Canโ€™t really remember what happened after that.
