State Champs! State Champs Banner Update Alert…Rosa Parks K-5 State Champs!!!!
Rosa Parks Trailblazing Chess Squadron put together one of the most dominant days in Kentucky Chess Association history in winning its 14th State Championship in a K-5 CLEAN SWEEP Saturday at North Bullitt High School with all four players putting together perfect 4-0 scores. We are so proud of the hard work, puzzles, homework, and training this group has done…they improved so much over the course of this year and throughout their careers.
Congratulations as well to our youngsters in K-3 who battled tough all day and played in the last round for the championship. They came up just short against a great Norton Commons team and finished 5th but so proud of our up and coming youngsters.
Thank you so much to the KCA for running a great event and thanks to all of our supportive and long distance commuting parents who gave up the day to make this possible.
