On behalf of the Ignacian Marians, we extend our sincere gratitude to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) for hosting the impactful Health Education on Substance Abuse and Orientation on R.A. 9165 symposium on Thursday, February 6, 2025. The theme, "BUHAY INGATAN, DROGA'Y AYAWAN," resonated deeply with us.

The information presented was highly informative and provided valuable insights into the risks associated with substance abuse and the importance of adhering to R.A. 9165. As Ignacian Marians, we pledge to apply the knowledge and understanding gained from this symposium to promote responsible decision-making and a healthy lifestyle within our school and community. Indeed, as leaders of our school community, we are continually reminded of our mission as ‘pag-asa ng bayan.’

Thank you, BJMP, for your commitment to educating us on these issues. We truly appreciate your efforts in empowering us to make positive choices.

“Whoever sows bountifully, will also reap bountifully.” 2 Corinthians 9:6

The recent typhoons Pepito, Ofel and Nika have left countless families in the Philippines devastated and broken. Our fellow Filipinos in Luzon are now in need of help as they rise from the ashes that the pains of these typhoons have inflicted on them. As they face the darkest days of their lives, they continue to look for light and hope.

In line with this, we as Ignacian Marians are called to answer the call. The call to help our brothers and sisters. Through the initiative of the Ignacian Marian Council, we are humbly knocking your hearts as we conduct this donation drive. In monetary form of donation, our kapwa Filipinos are in need of this as they rebuild their homes and provide their families basic needs. The call to help and serve them is ringing at your front doors.

To those who are willing to answer the call of hope, advisers shall collect the donation of their students on NOVEMBER 28 and 29, 2024. For those who are also willing to give their donations, you may message the IMC page for more details.

“Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much.” Thank you in advance, dear IgMas for answering this to hope!

Celebrating Faith and Unity at Saint Mary's Academy of Capiz!

SMAC put into one stunning joint Living Rosary and United Nations Day celebration, where they give honor to devotion as brought together by their own student body. A rousing performance of "One Million Roses" and a breathtaking Living Rosary ensued on campus, with every graduating level having a representative come from the stage donning different sets of traditional costumes representing unbreakable unity in prayer. The coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Prayer for the Beatification of VIDES filled the auditorium with reverence.

After a short recess, students participated in the lively Parade of Nations, the beautiful globe-making presentation, and Songs to Mary by our younger students. With awards and a final unity song, in which reminded us of our commitment to peace and harmony. 🌏💙🤍✨

Ignacian Marians represents Saint Mary’s Academy of Capiz in the RVM Youth Day which was held in Saint Mary’s of San Nicolas, Cebu.

The event with the theme “The Pilgrims of Hope in Today’s World”, where it was filled with bonds, joy, and learnings that made the Ignacian Marians understand the true meaning of being an RVM youth. Through this event, the Ignacian Marians were reminded of their ability to have hope amidst adversity. It inspires them to embrace their roles as active agents of change while building connections in their communities. As they navigate through life’s challenges together, they embody the spirit of pilgrims—seeking not only personal growth but also collective transformation.💙🤍✨
